The original host of IODE-XXVI (Poland) has kindly offered to host  the "International Ocean Data Conference- The Data We Need for the Ocean We Want" in Sopot, Poland, between 14-16 February 2022.

This will be the first in, we hope, a long series of conferences related to the “Global Ocean Data (and Information) Ecosystem”. During these conferences, we will discuss how evolving user needs will shape our national, regional and global data systems, what technologies are in place, and are expected to become available to further develop and improve our products and services for the scientific needs and societal benefits. We will also consider how IOC’s IODE is contributing to the UN Decade of Ocean Science for Sustainable Development (2021-2030) and how the Decade will contribute to IODE and its global network of data and information centres in reaching new user communities as well as data and information providers.”
