The Ocean Sciences Meeting 2026 (OSM26), held 22–27 February 2026 in Glasgow, Scotland, is the flagship biennial gathering that brings together the global ocean science and ocean-connected community to share cutting-edge research, build collaborations, and advance understanding of the ocean and its role in the Earth system.

At OSM26, thousands of researchers, technologists and stakeholders will converge for plenaries, oral and poster sessions, town halls, and special events that span the full breadth of ocean disciplines. Below we highlight a selection of key activities at OSM26 from the GOOS team and the broader GOOS community.
