3rd meeting of the JCOMM Expert Team for Operational Ocean Forecast Systems

Venue The meeting will be held at the Japan Meteorological Agency in central Tokyo (map >). Visa requirements for Japan Please see the information available from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan. Hotel The closest hotel to the meeting venue is the KKR Hotel, across the street from JMA, which will re-open after a renovation on 1 October. Download map and info > From the airport Most international flights arrive at Narita airport. The most direct route from Narita to JMA or the KKR hotel is by taking the Japan Rail Narita Express (N'EX) to Tokyo station (about 1 hour), then walking 20 minutes or taking a taxi (10 min., 660 ¥). The competing Keisei Sky Access train, while faster (40 min.) and a little less expensive, arrives at Ueno station, a 15 minute taxi ride from JMA (or 45 min. walking).
