The programme will be held at NUI Galway, Ireland, from 18 to 22 September 2017, and is open to postgraduate students of ocean, climate and environment related sciences.

The Ocean and Climate Scholars Programme is a collaboration between NUI Galway and the Parnership for Observation of the Global Ocean (POGO), and is supported by the Nippon Foundation.

The Atlantic Ocean Climate Scholars Programme 2017 is supported by the NF-POGO regional training fund. A number of scholarships are available to cover the cost of travel and accommodation expenses.
